that is a member of an NWCC club must submit a
Declaration
Form before their
first show, along with a copy of the registration papers for each
horse that will be shown

APHA DIVISION AWARDS
APHA
Youth
- All
APHA rules must be observed
- Youths
age is determined by the age he or she is the 1st of January of
the current year
- Points
shall be tallied on a one horse/rider combination
- Ownership
of horse by youth shall not be required
- The
same horse may be used by more than one youth
- Awards
will be given in all classes that qualify
- To
be eligible, the youth/horse combination must earn points spread
over a minimum of three different youth classes
- Only
APHA-approved classes qualify for this award
- High
Point Categories Awarded: Leadline, Youth 11 and under, Youth
13 and under, Youth 14-18.
APHA
Amateur
- Awards
will be given in all classes that qualify
- High
point is open to one horse/rider combination
- All
APHA Amateur classes to count
- Only
APHA-approved classes qualify for this award
- High
Point Categories Awarded: Amateur Halter, Amateur Performance.
APHA
Novice Amateur
- Only
APHA-approved classes qualify for this award
- All
APHA Novice Amateur classes to count.
- High
Point Category Awarded: Novice Amateur.
APHA
Open Awards
- Only
APHA-approved classes qualify for this award
- High
Point Category Awarded: Breeding Stock Stallion/Gelding, Breeding
Stock Mare, Grand and Reserve Halter Stallion, Mare, and Gelding,
Longeline, Junior Performance Horse, Senior Performance Horse,
English Performance Horse, Western Performance Horse.
HCPHC
Non-APHA Division Awards
- Points
may be submitted for any class not approved by APHA (ie., not
eligible for APHA points).
- High
Point Category Awarded: Stallion In Hand, Mare In Hand, and Gelding
In Hand, Western Horse, English Horse, Adult, Youth, Ride America,
Misc.
